Člani skupine so:
- Bogdana Herman: glas
- Milan Dekleva: klavir/klaviature, avtor lirike in glasbe
- Jerko Novak: klasična kitara, aranžmaji
- Božo Ogorevc: violina
- Lado Jakša: klarinet, saksofon, tolkala
Skupina Salamander je v sedanji zasedbi izvedla svoj prvi javni nastop oktobra 2019 na koncertu ob 70-letnici rojstva (leta 2014 preminulega) Tomaža Pengova na Ljubljanskem gradu. Nato je kontinuiteto njihovega koncertnega delovanja prekinila koronska kriza vse do jeseni 2021, ko je postopoma nadaljevala angažirano in sistematično delo. Po letu 2022 je skupina Salamander izvedla več samostojnih celovečernih koncertov, predvsem v Ljubljani in osredni Sloveniji. Leta 2024 je pričela s snemanjem svojega prvega studijskega albuma, za katerega upa, da bo ugledal luč sveta spomladi 2025.
